Brand Collaborations

This was my first challenge to create an interactive hand embroidery for an Indonesian shoe brand, Geoff Max. I hand embroidered one of their shoe models with a bubble gum stuck underneath its rubber sole. I wanted it to get the bubble gum sticky effect when the shoe was lifted so I experimented with a bunch of threads.

This project was inspired by one of my favourite Japanese embroidery artists, Ipnot.

Lovecrafts is a craft supplier and global community for makers from the United Kingdom. I had a chance to collaborate with them by sharing my two hand embroidery tutorials on their blog.
